The Grand Palace is a must-see attraction in Bangkok, Thailand. Today, the Grand Palace is a popular tourist destination and is widely considered one of the most beautiful and impressive landmarks in all of Thailand. The hall is adorned with intricate gold leaf carvings and colorful murals depicting scenes from Thai mythology and history. Other notable buildings within the Grand Palace complex include the Chakri Maha Prasat Hall, which was built in a neo-renaissance style and served as the king's living quarters, and the Dusit Maha Prasat Throne Hall, which was used for receiving foreign dignitaries.
